TEAM ELITE is the island's largest club-based basketball program. At GEB, our focus is player development and ensuring that each athlete is immersed into our philosophies of hard work, commitment and character-building! As we gear up for the 2021 seasons, we are looking to take our programs to the next level!

Team Practices

Practice Venue: GUAM NATIONAL TRAINING CENTER

Mandatory for all Members

Team Elite practices are held year-round every Saturday at the Harmon Sports Complex in Dededo. The basis of these practice sessions is to teach team concepts from the ground-up. Some skills players can expect to learn are:

•Understanding proper spacing on offense

• Recognizing how to attack certain defenses between zones and man-to-man

•Pick and roll, off-ball screen actions

•Basic man-to-man principles, zone coverage principles

•3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 concepts

•Scoring options within the offense

Skills Training

Team Elite skills training sessions focus on individual player development. The aim of this program is to equip each player with the necessary skill-sets to excel at the team level. With the guidance of our experienced skills trainers, each player will develop the following:

•Fundamentals of dribbling, passing & shooting

•Advanced scoring options

•Offensive scoring out of pick and roll

•Improved court awareness

•On-ball defense, close-outs

•1-on-1 scoring options
